Training Pet Parakeet..but dont want to clip wings. is it possible? Review
I have a pet parakeet i got and in the 9 yrs with his old family he was rarely let out of the cage and never trained…. i dont want to clip his wings, but still want him trained to step onto my finger at the least as this will be better for him when he is out. I know its possible (my dad had a parrot that was lyk his shadow without ever being wing clipped)…but with this birds history i dont know if i can train without clipping wings..help?

It's definitely possible to train your parakeet without clipping his wings. I find birds are much happier without having their wings clipped and it's an amazing experience and bonding experience with your bird to flight train him.
I flight train all my birds both indoors and outdoors;
