What's the best way to train a dog? I would like my dogs to be more calm on their walks. How can I achieve this?

Long story short, had a dog completely potty trained (so I think, in question now) got a new puppy. The original dog started to potty inside along with the puppy. Now have moved the puppy to a separate home and which a dog trainer said WOULD fix the problem, with out a doubt. But our original dog is still peeing in the house!! I busted her today. Are we going to have to potty train her ALL OVER AGAIN?
She is also becoming pretty needy. Always follows me & trying to get me to either carry or her or give her attention/love. I am worried she is becoming too clingy/dependent what will help?
I don't know that she misses her. If I had to just GUESS, I would say she didn't like the new puppy being there. Especially towards the end when I would walk in and greet them, and I did ALWAYS give & do everything with/to her first, she still was very mean and aggressive towards the new little puppy I felt so bad like I was being mean to the new little puppy because I did give the older dog all the attention first when greeting them or playing with them. She got to the point where when I would even go to touch or give any attention to the little one, she'd be mean to her.

I'm looking for some pet insurance that will cover things like kennel cough. I have 3 dogs and 2 have been exposed to it once already and may be exposed to it again because we adopted another puppy from the shelter. Just to let you know, I met the parents of the puppies and the breeder. She said the parents are more relaxed than most Border Collies, so the pups will most likely be as well. So… yah. Plus, I have no life. I'm a teenager. I got energy. I don't live in an apartment, so we got the room. I'm willing to run around for hours on end with this dog. I think I'm capable Thx anywayz.
