I'd actually like some facts/statistics, regardless of political view. The pet food trade association seems to say dog and cat food spending is just above B/yr. Not sure how to determine a real number for homelessness spending.

You can set things up in a controlled way so you can use sound for training purposes. This lets you get the exact result you want.

Taken to it’s extreme, these four repetitions should be performed in four different places, or with different people, dogs, or whatever the “props” involved may be. Understanding how dogs think, learn, and process information is a stretch of the imagination for most of us. It is obvious that they know more about psychology than we do.

A good dog owner, already knows that dogs think and communicate, but not at all like humans. So it is up to us to make the effort if we want good results.

You have to be consistent so as not to confuse. Using conditioned reflex, you will be able to effectively change any behaviour you choose.

We will be using a set of cans in our demonstration. These allow us to change the direction of the sound quite simple by moving the string. This is all we need to change a behavior. We are going to create sound and follow it immediately with praise. What you do is let the unwanted behavior begin nad create a sound from a different direction, and then praise him.

What you do is create the sound every time bad behavior starts and follow that with praise. You will have to so this several times in order to change his conditioning. It takes persistence.

Now that you have the technique you can continue for ever to use it to condition him. In future if he makes a mistake in any of the training you have conditioned, it is probably more of a challenge to you as the boss.

You will soon come to enjoy this process because it really works well and you can take satisfaction from knowing how to change behavior. Do bear in mind that this is changing existing behavior, not teaching new behavior.

I just bought an Austrailian Blue Lobster and I've taken care of fish before and now I feel totally stupid because I have no idea how to take care of this one.
Im really wondering whats best to feed him (he eats lobster pellets now) and how often I should clean the tank, etc.
Any basic beginner info would be greatly appreciated.

We've all heard the problems that have occured with our children's toys and the pet food killing all of those pets. What can we do to make sure it's not tainted or from a country doesn't care, that has a history of poisoned products?
